Welcome to our video blog. We're here this week to show you about different types of copped. We have three different type of copper that come in. We have number one copper. Our number two copper and our roofing copper.

This is a sample of number one copper. It has no paint, no oil, no grease, nothing. So when they put this in furnace there's not much smoke that comes off it, nothing that's going to burn on this so. That's why they call this number one and it's worth more than the number two. The number two has like an oil and all, which I'll show you next. But this is all our number one copper if you take a look, has all nice and clean number one.

And now, we have our number two copper. Our number two copper has some paint on it. It has oil running through it from an air conditioner. All different kinds of number two. The copper that goes through your basement ceiling will have paint on it and that would be number two copper. It has more smoke in the catalytic converters which cost a little bit of money to replace all the time to keep the environment clean. That's the difference for our number two copper which is usually around 15 to 20 cents a pound cheaper than number one copper.

And now next we have the Roofing copper. I'll show you what that looks like. Ok there's a couple pieces of roofing copper. This Is your common gutter that would come hooked to your gutter. The top of your roof when you'll get a new roof they'll re-tar a piece of shit in this directs your water off your roof. This is roofing copper which is common. There's little pieces of flashing that come in between shingles and the top of your roof and this is what roofing copper looks like as the roofers put the new stuff up. So we buy all kinds of the copper. This is one of the cheaper kind because some of the roofing copper has tar stuck in there. See, look at this. tar in there plus when they melt this down, it has lots of residues of tar so they don't like this as much as they do number one if you were going to buy copper, you'd rather have the number one to melt it down because there would be no tar, less weight and it actually weighs a little bit too and it weighs it down. And this would be a lot nicer to melt down because this here all the smoke that would come off it and the catalytic converters is what saves our environment.
