We're getting more cans in now during the coronavirus i think people are doing a lot more drinking but we have the soda and the beer cans here so if you have any soda or beer cans bring them on by we're getting them recycled and helping the environment the best we can.

Our prices are changing actually now they're going up instead of down like they were in the beginning of the coronavirus so copper is getting to be better we're probably 20 cents a pound higher today than we were two weeks ago the prices do change hour by hour sometimes day by day so you always want to call for the most accurate price but all the metals are starting to do a little bit better.
Aluminum is still not as strong but the coppers are getting stronger which they'll pull all the other metals up so keep in touch with us our phone number is 215-624-2420.
Hi welcome to jaycare's recycling. I'm Joe. We have some brass and die cast we're going to talk about today the new spigots that are on your sink there are stainless steel die cast this is all plastic here this whole thing that looks like metal or stainless but it's plastic and this here piece here is die cast and this piece here is aluminum and it has a little bit of brass going up the center so nowadays and this is stainless steel one here so we got a few different metals on our spigots now. They used to be all brass and if we look at this piece here this is taken apart and the only thing it has is this little brass insert inside of it but the whole other piece of this this is all aluminum and you got the rubber hoses coming out surrounded by plastic.
So there's not much brass in the new spigots today this one here is taken apart so we took it apart so you can see this would normally be on top of it like that and we're taking it apart this is not brass this is a die cast metal same thing a hot wheel car is made out of and here's this is all die cast here you have a little bit of copper tiny bit of brass here and then the handle is also die cast so there's not much one spigot today that's brass where they used to be 100% brass. It's a big difference. It's the same thing one this one here all this nice-looking gold metal that's all die cast here and inside of here we have some brass that little round, um I guess turbine or whatever you want to call, that's a brass that valve inside there but all the body of the whole body is die cast in a plastic handle and just wanted to show everybody today how they're making stuff it's a little different it's not 100% brass a lot of people think it's all brass but it's not so just showing you what we got.
yes we were talking about the copper prices earlier they're going up that's great but unfortunately, the cam prices have stayed the same they went down about a dime when the corona virus hit and they stayed down so right now they're 24 cents a pound.
