This is our blog for March 17, 2021: Scrap Metal Prices Philadelphia.
We're going to talk a little bit more about spring cleaning. You might even have some of these items in your garage or your basement. Maybe, even the kitchen sink, the old kitchen sink. We'll put this on the scale. We'll see what it weighs and we'll see what it's worth. The sink weighs 9 pounds. So, that would be $4.50.
We have another item here, an old extension cord. Sometimes, they become no good. If they're no good, you can get them recycled here. I'll put it on the scale. The extension cord weighs 13 pounds, which would be $11.70.
Our next item, we have here is an old broken ceiling fan. We'll put that on the scale. It weighs 14 pounds. That would be a $1.40. Not a whole lot, but, at least you'll get it recycled.
We have another item here: a box of old brass fittings, you might have laying around in the garage. We'll put that on the scale and we'll weigh that and let you know what it's worth. It weighs 15 pounds. So, that should be $26.25, $1.75 a pound.
Our next item, we have here is some old copper aluminum coils from an air conditioner. We'll put those on the scale. And they weigh 11 pounds. So, that would be $12.20.
Well, for this pile of junk, that we showed you earlier today, that you might have in your garage, it comes out to be $56.00 or those items all together.

Well, we're back to our normal hours after Kovic (COVID-19). Our hours are 7:30 till 5 o'clock Monday to Friday and 7:30 till 11 o'clock in the morning on Saturday.
