Today we're gong to talk a little bit about brass. We have some brass spickets here. If you take notice of the brass spicket, I have in my hand, the bottom part of it is diecast, small bit of copper coming out of it. We have a brass stem here and another diecast handle. So, it's not a hundred percent brass. It's only about 50% brass, so it's not the best brass in the world.

Ok and the next piece we have will be another brass spicket but this one here is almost 100% brass, just the two diecast handles on it that the rest of it will be all brass. And it's very heavy. If you felt this here is probably about six or seven pounds as opposted to about a pound and a half to the other ones.

We're working our way from the worst to the best. This he's piece of Brass here which is still chrome plated. The chrome plated is still not as good as the non chrome plated. So a little bit better grade would step into this piece here which has no chrome where I think this brass is a little bit better in quality for scrap metal. Not necessary made for quality but in scrap it's better

We have a brass candle stick. The brass candle stick here is solid brass. There's no chrome. So this is a little bit better. This is a yellow brass and we even get into a little bit better brass and this here is solid, no chrome, nothing, just one type of brass where we have different kind of brass would be a red brass I'll show you next

ok, we have another kind of brass here. This is a red brass. This is one of our more expensive brasses. We pay more for this brass, than we do the other onesl We also have another example. The red brass here is an elbow here connected to two pieces of copper and we also have a brass trap, from under your tub and this would be a red brass too.
